Building Stronger Communities: Thank You for Supporting the Power Kids Club Food Drive

Dear Power Kids Club Community,

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in the Connections by Power Kids Club Food Drive and the Food Sorting Event that took place on Friday, November 15, 2024. Your generosity and commitment to giving back have made a tremendous impact, and we are truly appreciative of the time, effort, and spirit of service that was shared by all.

Why Giving Back Matters

At Power Kids Club, we believe that giving back is an essential part of building stronger, more connected communities. Charitable work is about more than just helping those in need—it’s about fostering a sense of purpose, unity, and empathy that benefits everyone involved. Whether you’re packing boxes, donating food, or volunteering your time, these acts of kindness have a lasting effect on individuals and communities alike.

A Successful Food Sorting Event

At our Food Sorting Event, we worked together to pack 40 Blizzard Boxes for Meals on Wheels, ensuring that 40 individuals who are particularly vulnerable to extreme weather conditions will have access to nutritious meals when volunteers are unable to deliver due to inclement weather. This small but vital act of kindness will provide comfort and support to those in need during the harsh winter months.

Additionally, thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate over 60 pounds of food to the feeding program at the Reform Church of Nyack. These contributions will help sustain vital community programs and provide meals to those who need them most. Each donation, whether large or small, plays a crucial role in ensuring that individuals and families in our community have access to the resources they need, especially during challenging times.
