Winter Adventures at Power Kids Club: A Recap

As our winter session comes to an end, we are so grateful for the time spent together this season. From our Kids Club to the Teens and our Pros, there was an abundance of fun, learning and creativity this winter at Power Kids Club!

Kids Session:

In the kids’ session, the focus was on fostering collaboration and creativity, as well as fitness. Through a blend of collaborative play, arts and crafts, and yoga stretches, our young members discovered the joy of working together while also developing their individual creativity. The game of Duck Duck Goose added an element of excitement and friendship, reinforcing the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Teen Session:

This winter our teens practiced engaging in conversations with friends in order to develop their social skills, while arts and crafts activities allowed them to nurture their imagination. Yoga and exercise sessions not only promoted physical well-being but also instilled a sense of mindfulness. With games like Guess in 10, 7 Up, and lively dance parties, our teens had ample opportunities to bond and make lasting memories.

PKC Pro:

Even as snow days threatened to disrupt routines, our dedicated PKC Pros persisted in their creative endeavors. Crafts for the PKC Store were handmade in sessions, showcasing their craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit. From Valentine’s Day Gift Bags to St. Patrick’s Day-themed creations like Leprechaun candles and bracelets, every item was crafted with love and care. Not only did they hone their artistic skills, but they also contributed to charitable causes and awareness through their bracelets and key chains.

Power Kids Club Clubhouse:

Adding a new program to the winter session, Power Kids Club introduced Clubhouse classes—a blend of socialization, snacking, and stimulating activities. Members gathered to enjoy snacks and each other’s company before diving into hands-on STEM learning and culinary adventures. From exciting experiments to delectable recipes, Clubhouse classes provided a platform for exploration and discovery, fostering a love for learning beyond the traditional setting.

As the winter session drew to a close, the PKC clubhouse echoed with laughter, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment. Each member, regardless of age or experience, left with cherished memories and valuable lessons learned. Winter may have been cold, but at Power Kids Club, the warmth of friendship, creativity, and learning illuminated every moment. Here’s to the adventures that await in the seasons ahead!
